Refund Policy
The short version: try it free first, and if you buy and it does not do what we said it would, email us within 30 days and we will refund you.
Try before you buy
Every app is downloadable and usable before you pay. We would rather you find out on your own gear, in your own room, with your own controller, than take our word for it. A licence key unlocks the software you already have — you are never buying something you have not run.
30-day refunds
If you buy a licence and it is not right for you, email[email protected] within 30 days of purchase and ask for a refund. You do not have to justify it, and we will not put you through a retention script. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within a few business days depending on your bank.
Tell us what went wrong if you are willing. Not to change your mind — the refund is not conditional on your answer — but because a refund usually means we failed to describe something accurately, and we would rather fix that than repeat it.
If something is broken, tell us first
If the software is not working the way it should, give us a chance before you give up. Most problems are a MIDI device that needs a different port, a permission macOS never asked for, or a setting that is not where you expected. Email [email protected] and you will get a person. If we cannot fix it, you get your money back — that path stays open the whole 30 days regardless.
Schools and purchase orders
The same 30 days applies to site licences bought by a school or district. If a purchase was made on a PO and has been invoiced but not yet paid, we will cancel the invoice rather than process a refund, which is simpler for everyone's bookkeeping. Contact us and we will handle the paperwork on our end.
What is not refundable
We cannot refund a purchase made through Apple's App Store — Apple is the seller in that case and handles its own refunds, through the Report a Problem page on their site. If you bought through Apple and are stuck, email us anyway and we will point you at the right place.
Licence transfers
A licence belongs to you, not to a machine. If you replace a computer, it moves with you at no cost. If you bought the wrong product, we will swap it rather than make you buy twice.
